Sales Development Representative

We're looking for the right salesperson to join us in a new role that you can help shape. You will have a high level of opportunity and will report to the Director of Sales. is a growing mid-size startup on a mission to make eating at work amazing.  We're changing the way employees eat by drawing from a diverse set of local, passionate food providers that are making company meals more exciting inside and outside of the office. We work collaboratively across 11 US markets, from San Francisco and New York to Austin and LA.


  • Generate new qualified leads and opportunities within the markets serves through cold calling and other outbound sales activities
  • Creatively identify decision makers with potential clients, research companies, and strategize approaches to create interest
  • Use consultative selling to adjust your approach to fit the audience and maximize your pipeline.
  • Work in a collaborative team environment and transfer leads as fit to in-market support and/or appropriate members of the leadership team
  • Work cross-functionally and collaborate with other departments, including, but not limited to, Operations, Marketing, and the Vendor Team
  • Administer email campaigns and own the follow-up steps
  • Take part in marketing campaigns designed to target specific industries and events
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity in CRM


  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 1-2 years sales or sales development experience in a high volume, fast-paced inside sales environment
  • Demonstrated success in cultivating relationships with both buyers and decision makers across multiple industries
  • Experience with prospecting/cold calling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with a CRM is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • An aggressive sales-minded mentality with the desire to drive for results
